The Santa Barbara Front and Back country offer a variety of riding terrain, from easy and scenic coastal bluffs, to chunky and technical singletrack in the front range of the Santa Ynez Mountains. Here we list many of our favorite trails.

A main goal of SBMTV is promoting trail access for all, especially mountain bikes, on our local trails. Along with the Trail Maintenance Program, the SBMTV bell program has improved the experience of all user groups. We encourage you to ride with a bell and observe IMBA trail etiquette so all can continue to enjoy our beautiful trails with their chosen mode of access.
