- Location of Work: Jesusita Trail, above Moreno Ranch
- Type of work crew: Volunteers working through Forest Service / SBMTV Participating Agreement.
- Type of Work: Level 1 to include brushing and water control maintenance.
- Tools: Loppers, McLeods, Pulaskis, Rogue Tools
Description: Jesusita Trail above Moreno Ranch has heavy brush growth encroaching on the trail. Volunteers will use loppers, Mcleods, and Rogue Tools to mitigate the brush encroaching on the trail and repair/improve existing water control structures. (Goals: Minimize impacts, reduce maintenance needs, improve safety)
Volunteers will need:
- long pants
- durable trail shoes
- water, snacks, sunscreen
- glove and helmets will be supplied, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves and bike helmets.
- to sign the Los Padres National Forest Volunteer Agreement.
Tools and tool instruction/supervision will be supplied.
