Sunday March 15th - SBMTV/LPFA trail maintenance on Little Pine Trail.

SBMTV has partnered with the LPFA to host the following community trail work event in the Los Padres National Forest:

Little Pine / Santa Cruz Trail - between Upper Oso and Alexander Saddle: Volunteers will be cutting back brush within the trail corridor, removing slough/slide material, and improving water control structures along the trail. Trail work will include a few mile hike to work site.

Coffee will be provided in the morning and a great lunch after the work is done!

When: Sunday March 15th
Where: Lower Oso Day Use Area (before the water crossing, by the kiosk)
Meet: 9:00am, Lunch 2:30pm
Bring: Long pants, plenty of water, sunscreen, own helmet and gloves (or use ours), sturdy shoes, snacks!
* It is going to be HOT. Bring plenty of water!

***Parking passes will be available at the Lower Oso parking area right by the kiosk - please let kiosk operator that you are doing Volunteer Trail Work this day and picking up your pass at the lot next door.

* There may be a crew camping out at Upper Oso Campground Saturday night March 14th. Let us know if you would like to camp too…or reserve your own site. Hope to see you there!
