Trail Overview

The upper part of the trail is follows long switchbacks through thick chaparral, and the tread is narrow but smooth. Eventually the trail descends into the canyon below, and becomes a typical front country canyon trail with technical rock sections. This trail can be ridden as a loop by ascending the Romero Fire Road and coming across either Camino Ceilo or the Buena Vista aka Hobbit Trail.

How to find It

Near the intersection of East Mountain Drive and Park Lane. The trail head is near the locked gate on Mountain Drive.
