9/27 Jesusita Trail Maintenance - National Public Lands Day - Saturday September 27th

Saturday September 27th is National Public Lands Day across the U.S! One of the events here in Santa Barbara will be a community trail work event on the Jesusita trail between the Tunnel trail head and Inspiration Point.

Participants (you!) will be repairing damaged trail tread and switchback shortcuts in addition to cleaning out the water control structures. It’s all in a good days work…and the reward at the end is lunch from the Santa Barbara Chicken Ranch!

Time: 9:00am - 2:00pm
Meet/Sign Up: Jesusita/Tunnel trail head gate at the top of Tunnel Rd.
Bring: Water, snacks, sunscreen, long pants, sturdy shoes, bike helmet, gloves
Supplied: Tools, instruction, hardhats, gloves
Lunch: 2:00pm Mission Road Garden grass area.
