12/11/12 update: Little Pine trail work this Sunday! Bring your bike and ride the trail after the event! (Last Sundays work was incredible - photos and report soon…). Bikes will be shuttled to the top (along with volunteers and tools). 4×4 trucks and drivers are also needed for this Sunday the 16th.
Little Pine / Santa Cruz trail is need of some serious trail maintenance! This December SBMTV will be organizing a work event to improve some of the worst areas. This will include cutting back the heavy brush, re-benching the meadow, and pulling the shale slides of of the trail.
The meadow trail “bed”. Years of tall grass and short maintenance have pushed users off the trail…
SBMTV’s tool hauling trailers will be utilized for this event…and your mountain bike. It will be a ride in and ride out day… So reserve December 9th and 16thfor Little Pine, maybe even add it to your calendar!.
