Saturday September 28th is National Public Lands Day on Little Pine Trail! Come on out and lend a hand!

SBMTV has partnered with the Los Padres Forest Association and the Santa Barbara County Trails Council to host the following community trail work event in the Los Padres National Forest:

Lower Santa Cruz (Little Pine) Trail in the Santa Barbara Ranger District: Volunteers will be cutting back brush within the trail corridor, removing slough/slide material, and improving water control structures from the lower trail head above upper Oso Campground to the meadow above the Nineteen Oaks Connector.

Coffee will be provided in the morning and a great lunch and raffle will be provided after the work is done!

  • When: Saturday September 28th
  • Where: Upper Oso Campground Day Use Area
  • Meet: 9:00am, Lunch 2:00pm
  • Bring: Long pants, plenty of water, sunscreen, own helmet and gloves (or use ours)

* There will be a crew camping out at Upper Oso Campground Friday night Sept 27th and possibly Saturday night to ride and hike on Sunday. Let us know if you would like to camp too…or reserve your own site. Hope to see you there!
