Hello Trail Users!
SBMTV maintained all of Camuesa Trail back in 2011/12…but now some touch up work is needed due weather, wear, and the recent White Fire.
*Update: the trail work event is still on and meeting time and place will stay the same. Depending on Buckhorn Rd conditions, we may carpool from Upper Oso to the Eastern end of the trail work up from Paradise Rd. See you at Upper Oso 8:30am!
Join us and other volunteers on Sunday February 9th, 8:30am (yes) to maintain and enhance the trail by repairing water control features and trail tread. We will work until about 2pm and then head back to the Upper Oso Day Use Area for a free lunch!
* This is another ride or hike in work event! Starting from the Camuesa trail head on Buckhorn Rd, volunteers can ride to the work site and ride out on the rest of the Camuesa trail afterwards. Riders must RSVP. Hike in/out will be happening too!

Meet: Upper Oso Day Use Area/Campground off of Paradise Rd.
What: Trail work consisting of water feature repair and tread work.
Bring: Long pants, sturdy shoes, plenty of water, snacks, bike helmet and gloves.
Supplied: Hard hats, gloves, tools, instruction, lunch, and fun!
*This event will include some drive time to the trail head and a bit of hiking to the work site.
