Sunday May 13th - Mother’s Day Volunteer Trail Work: Camuesa Connector!

We are celebrating Mother’s Day by thanking Mother Earth! Come out Sunday May 13th and honor your Mother.

For our May trail work event, we are going to return to Camuesa Connector Trail one more time before it becomes to hot to work in the back country. Two miles have already been worked earlier in the year and there are two more miles to take care of to complete this great trail.

Come to the Lower Oso Day use area at 9am on Sunday May 13th. Volunteers will be provided with day passes and the event will be followed up with a catered lunch from the Santa Barbara Chicken Ranch.

The Low Down:

What: Camuesa Connector Trail Volunteer trail work.

When: Sunday May 13th, 9am to 2pm

Meet:

• 8am at the Santa Barbara Mission Rose Gardens to carpool. Cars leave at 8:15am
• 9am at the Lower Oso Day use area parking lot (across the river)

Bring: Long pants (required), sturdy shoes, snacks, lots of water, sunscreen and your own gloves and helmet if you prefer not to use ours

Provided: Tools, gloves, helmets, gloves, instruction, and lunch!
