Trail Overview

The upper part of the trail starts off quite smooth below Camino Cielo, but quickly becomes very rocky. It is consistently challenging, with a mix of loose and embedded rocks, with a couple of small drops along the way. The lower trail follows the Cold Springs Creek, and varies between smooth single track and short rocky areas. The Cold Springs West Fork trail meets up with this trail near the lower trail head.

How to find It

The lower trail head is about a mile west of Hot Springs Rd on Mountain Drive. The upper trail head is on Camino Cielo, which is accessible from the top of the Romero Fire Rd.

Typical Conditions

Gnar. Rocks. Loose areas. Lots of it.
